National Project Logistics Business Development Manager

Job Description
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities for KN Project Logistics. They deeply understand the Project Logistics market, service offerings, and operational requirements.
Your Role
They spend most of the time in customer-facing activities, hunting for new business and working hand in hand with Pricing and Customer Excellence Teams. They do personally own an account portfolio.Your Responsibilities
- To qualify and generate new business opportunities with a clear focus on Breakbulk and Out of Gauge (OOG) shipments, specific Industries, Areas / Territories, National Key Accounts, Special Products and New Markets
- To create value for Customers and KNPL and to foster relationships
- To drive profitable growth
- To demonstrate superior Project Logistics product and market knowledge
- To attend customer events, exhibitions and meetings (internal & external) and deliver presentations about our industry solutions
- To monitor our competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing & products
- To report customer complaints to the Customer Excellence Team
Your Skills and Experiences
- 4 years of experience in supply chain or freight forwarding industry
- Strong understanding of Project Logistics and the current market
- Customer and results driven persona
- Exceptional customer engagement and communication skills
- Solid influencing and negotiating skills
- 2 years on project will be an advantage
