Disabled People South Africa (DPSA) is a leading national non-profit organization committed to promoting and protecting the human rights of all persons with disabilities in South Africa.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the National Project Coordinator.
1. Key Performance Areas (KPA's):
-Manage and coordinate all Skills Development projects
-Development of project implementation plans
-Oversee project budgets and ensure that resources are utilized effectively and transparently
-Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and implement corrective actions
-Preparation of comprehensive narrative and financial progress reports as and when required, by the organization, funders and other external stakeholders in line with signed Service Levels Agreements
-Maintain and update database of projects, learners and participants
-Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government departments, civil society organizations and DPO's and donors.
-Have regular team and stakeholder meetings to track progress of projects.
-Resource Mobilization - submit funding proposals to all calls for proposals to different SETA's/ funders.
-Facilitate and assist with national and provincial fundraising initiatives for DPSA.
2.Requirements
-A Diploma in Project Management or Development Studies
-Minimum 2 years' experience in project management
-Good understanding of the disability sector and challenges faced by disabled people in South Africa.
-Knowledge of the social model of disability will be highly advantageous
-Certificate in Facilitation / Assessment and Moderation and previous experience with SETA's will be an advantage.
-Proven experience in project management, preferable in the DPO, non-profit or development sector.
-Track record of fundraising for NPO's nationally and internationally.
-Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal and time management skills and leadership skills.
-Good written and verbal language skills
-Ability to speak English and at least one or two other South African languages will be advantage as this is a national position.
-Proficiency in in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
-Valid Driver's license and willingness to travel.
