Job Description


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Structure and Planning
Create structure in the companies branding and marketing.
Create templates, processes and planning documents to ensure clear communication, strategy and outcomes for marketing activities. * Marketing Strategy

Act as the companys brand custodian ensuring high quality, consistent and effective execution of the brand and marketing activities.
Work with category heads and stakeholders to define brand and category positioning. * Promotion Planning and Innovation

Determine marketing calendar in conjunction with channel heads and manage deadlines along its strategic execution.
Collaborate with Category Managers and Procurement on upcoming promotions to ensure clear strategy, outcomes and audiences are identified.
Obtain and review Briefing Documents.
Brief promotions to graphic designer or agency as needs require.
Perform final review of artwork for errors and omissions.
Liaise with Suppliers for supplier-driven promotions as-and-when required.
Facilitate communication amongst departments (Pricing, Procurement etc.) * Marketing Administration

Obtain quotes from relevant service providers for all printed work in line with procurement policies.
Collaborate with Category Managers and liaise with suppliers to obtain high quality product images Planning, execution and reporting of Promotions in CRM Tool (Microsoft Dynamics CRM) * Reporting

Create and interpret meaningful reporting on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns according to the defined objectives of the campaigns and present findings to stakeholders monthly, quarterly or aligned to campaign timing. * Budgeting

Prepare and justify annual marketing budgets based on brand and business outcomes. * Corporate Identity and Theme Maintenance

Ensure all artwork, copy and campaigns are aligned to the corporate identity of the brand.
Review and improve on corporate entity ensuring consistency across all channels. * Communication

Excels at verbal and written communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
Able to communicate effectively with colleagues across all levels of the business in a collaborative environment. * Professionalism

Conducts him/herself in a manner which represents the company in a good light in the market.

Skills, Education and Experience
  • Completed degree or National Diploma Qualification
  • Experience in Omni-Channel Marketing and Strategy required
  • Strong Excel Capabilities
  • Strong commercial logic and business-minded approach to marketing
  • Project Management skills
