This esteemed global client is an international multi-disciplinary engineering, project delivery and operations management group, predominantly focused on the mining, minerals and metals industry. With has an extensive track record spanning four decades across a wide range of commodities.
We are looking for your expertise as a MV Electrical Engineer - Mining Commissioning will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning, integration, and operational readiness of medium-voltage electrical systems within a mining infrastructure project and includes substations, port electrical systems and mineral processing facilities. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the commissioning of MV electrical systems including substations, transformers, switchgear, and control systems.
• Integrate and operate SCADA systems, protection relays, and automation interfaces.
• Collaborate with EPCM contractors and OEMs to ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct fault analysis and implement corrective actions to ensure system reliability.
• Supervise installation teams and ensure adherence to international electrical standards.
• Prepare and review commissioning documentation including procedures, schedules, and test reports.
• Support training and handover to operations teams post-commissioning.

Qualifications & Skills Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in HV/MV electrical systems, preferably in mining or heavy industrial environments.
• Proven track record in commissioning electrical infrastructure in remote or international locations.
• Proficiency in SCADA, PLCs, protection relay configuration, and fault diagnostics.
• Experience with port electrical systems and bulk material handling equipment is advantageous.
• Willingness to work in remote locations under single status.
• Valid passport and yellow fever certificate.
• Medically fit for site work.
