POSITION OVERVIEW:




The Multi-Media Intern will play a vital role in capturing and communicating the spirit of AISJ through photography, videography, and digital design. As part of the Advancement team, the intern will produce engaging visual content to support storytelling across platforms, including social media, newsletters, the school website, and promotional campaigns. This position is ideal for a creative individual seeking hands-on experience in multimedia production within an educational and community-focused environment.


Qualifications




Recently completed a degree or diploma in Multimedia Design, Photography, Film/Video Production, Graphic Design, Media Studies, or a related field. Strong technical skills in photography, videography, and editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and After Effects). Excellent verbal and written communication skills Creative eye for storytelling, visual composition, and branding. Familiarity with social media platforms and current trends in digital content. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and the wider school community. Flexibility to cover events occasionally outside of standard school hours.

Learning Opportunities




Build a professional portfolio across photography, videography, and design. Gain practical experience in multimedia communications and digital storytelling for Advancement initiatives. Develop skills in branding, content creation, and campaign development. Work collaboratively with an experienced team dedicated to creativity, storytelling, and community engagement.

Working hours:

This is a 45-hour per-week position and may be required to work longer hours from time.
