Job Summary

: MuleSoft Tester

Location: Gauteng, Johannesburg Metro, Johannesburg

Job Type: Contract, Full-Time hours

Salary: ZAR0 - ZAR0 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive testing of MuleSoft applications and integrations to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts, covering all aspects of the MuleSoft solution
• Identify and document defects, issues, and risks, and work closely with the development team to resolve them
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather testing requirements and define test objectives
• Perform root cause analysis on identified defects and provide recommendations for improvements
• Maintain and update test documentation, test data, and test environments
• Participate in the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks and tools
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practises and emerging trends in MuleSoft testing

Required Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Tester, with a focus on MuleSoft testing
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques
• Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Experience in defect management and root cause analysis
• Good knowledge of MuleSoft platform and its various components
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

Education:

A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on MuleSoft testing.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong knowledge of MuleSoft platform and its various components
• Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts
• Experience with defect management and root cause analysis
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools
• Understanding of banking and finance domain is desirable

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in MuleSoft or software testing
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Knowledge of API testing and web services

Working Conditions:

This is a contract position based in Gauteng, Johannesburg Metro, Johannesburg. The role requires working full-time hours.

As a MuleSoft Tester, you will primarily work in an office environment, collaborating with development teams and stakeholders. Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings or training sessions.

This role may involve working on multiple projects simultaneously, requiring effective time management and prioritisation skills. You may also need to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements.
