Role Summary:

A functional consultant bridges the gap between business process and technology. They act as a liaison between the technical team and business stakeholders, translating business requirements into practical solutions. Their expertise is vital in achieving successful system implementations that align with the organisation's objectives.

Qualifications /Certifications required:

xe2x97x8f Qualifications in developing and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O
would be advantageous.

Experience required:

xe2x97x8f Experience in performing fit/gap analysis between business requirements and

out-the-box functionality.
xe2x97x8f Experience in documenting and communicating the high-level solution design.
xe2x97x8f Experience in supporting testing and end user training based on knowledge of
the solution.
xe2x97x8f Experience in delivering at least one Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation
through the entire project life cycle.
xe2x97x8f Solid experience with implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.

Responsibilities of role:

xe2x97x8f Driving requirements definition and assessing fit to D365 solution (F&O).
xe2x97x8f Documenting, proposing, and discussing solution options part of the programme team (high level design / low level design).
xe2x97x8f Providing advice during the implementation cycle, including configuration, and
customisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
xe2x97x8f Working with third party providers to translate requirements and design to
ensure solution build is in line with expectations.
xe2x97x8f Providing functional consultant delivery support across all phases of the
programme including testing, business change, data migration, and cutover.
xe2x97x8f Understanding business requirements and changes to guide the solution and
highlight any impact on integrated solutions or the teams.
xe2x97x8f Providing SME input across a variety of programme workstreams, including
testing, training, data, reporting, and business change.
xe2x97x8f Collaborating with colleagues to develop tools, approaches, and delivery plans.

Desirable skill sets include:

xe2x97x8f Ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, including the
programme team, third parties, and clients.

xe2x97x8f Functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O in terms of the out-of-the-box functionality and solution constraints.

xe2x97x8f Understanding of business transformation programmes, not just technology or software implementations.
xe2x97x8f An understanding of relevant business processes (e.g. finance, sales, purchase to pay, warehouse management for finance) and some experience in effective to-be processes.
