Mould Maintenance Fitter
Job Description
The core responsibilities of the position include:
xc2xb7Mould servicing and repairs
xc2xb7Systematic fault finding on breakdowns and start-ups
xc2xb7Planned maintenance work
xc2xb7Identifying process related problems linked to moulds
xc2xb7Problem solving and solution implementation
xc2xb7Support planning system and changes in requirements
xc2xb7Work shift if necessary
xc2xb7Ensuring good SHE practices and housekeeping
xc2xb7Proficient use of Maximo
xc2xb7Collaborate with cross functional teams to improve department effectiveness
The requirements for the position include:
xc2xb7Matric with an N3 or higher qualification
xc2xb7Minimum 3 years experience
xc2xb7A recognised apprenticeship and trade test
xc2xb7Reading and understanding engineering, pneumatic drawings
xc2xb7Carrying out systematic faultfinding on all other mechanical equipment
xc2xb7Apply structured problem-solving techniques to find root causes
xc2xb7Apply mechanical discipline with regard to Engineering and Operations requirements
xc2xb7Knowledge of basic computer applications
xc2xb7Interpretation of engineering drawings
xc2xb7Preparedness to work overtime and standby
xc2xb7Self-confidence with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to challenges is essential for this position.
xc2xb7Preferably a candidate with experience in aluminum processing equipment.
