Purpose of the Job

Medirite Plus Protea Heights is looking for a Part-Time Motorbike Driver to assist with efficient and timely deliveries from our dispensary to our valued customers in the local area.



The purpose of this role is to ensure the prompt and secure delivery of medication and other dispensary items, supporting the dispensary team in maintaining a high standard of customer care. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that patients receive their medication conveniently and safely, while upholding the values of trust, professionalism, and service excellence that Medirite is known for.



The successful candidate must have their own reliable transport to and from work, as the company motorbike will remain on-site at the branch outside of working hours.

Job Objectives

Collect and deliver prescriptions and pharmaceutical items efficiently and accurately. Ensure proper handling and safeguarding of medication during transport. Maintain delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon receipt. Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure the motorbike is clean, roadworthy, and compliant with safety regulations. Provide professional, friendly customer service during all interactions.

Qualifications

Essential:


Matric Certificate. Valid South African motorbike license (Code A or A1).

Experience

Essential:

1+ year of proven experience as a motorbike driver.

Knowledge and Skills

Knowledge of local roads and delivery routes. Understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws. Basic knowledge of handling and transporting items. Strong time management and organizational skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
