Our mechanical workshop is a family-owned business and RMI registered located in Langebaan, West Coast, right beside Saldanha. Our primary focus is on fleet maintenance, with a specialization in automotive repair services. We aim to provide our clients with value for their money and ensure consistent professional service and accurate repairs with every interaction. We are currently looking for a highly experienced and qualified mechanic or technician to join our dynamic team in a top-rated mechanical workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and servicing all types of cars, regardless of their brand, and managing the workshop staff. To succeed in this position, you need to be physically and mentally fit, have a solid understanding of mechanic's tools, service, and diagnostic equipment, and have excellent communication and diagnostic skills to effectively diagnose and fix vehicle problems. Mechanic Responsibilities: - Conduct vehicle assessments and perform regular maintenance. - Assemble mechanical components according to specifications. - Accurately complete job cards with repairs and parts required, and maintenance records. Desired Experience & Qualifications: - Speak and write Afrikaans - A valid South African driver's license. - Must be computer literate. - High school diploma and certification from a trade school (Red Seal). - A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role. - Experience working with all makes and models. - In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems. - Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving. - Ensuring all critical parts are checked and tested. - Performing minor and major services. - Ability to do a full overhaul of all vehicle components. Working Information: Working hours are Monday to Friday, with overtime as required. The salary ranges from R15000 to R20 000, depending on work experience.
