Monogastric Technical Advisor (animal Science)

Job Description
Meadow Feeds is regarded as the market leader in the southern African animal feed industry. They produce a variety of specialised diets and custom feed mixes for the livestock and game industries, but they are so much more than just feed!
They are now looking for a monogastric Technical Advisor.
The ideal candidate would be responsible for:
- Monogastric technical advice;
- Client liaison (on farm visits);
- Compiling and submitting weekly reports;
- CCR documentation;
- Sales and marketing of products;
- Client management support;
- Data analysis;
- Related administrative duties
- Organising and facilitating Farmer's days
- A minimum of a BSc. Agriculture degree;
- Preferably be registered with SACNASP;
- Experience in the selling and marketing of animal feed products;
- Experience in on-farm diet assessment programmes and feeding recommendations;
- Experience in the pig and broiler industry would be a distinct advantage;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
- Assertive and a high degree of self-motivation;
- An advanced level of computer skills in Microsoft Office products;
- A commitment to service excellence and attention to detail;
- High level of personal and professional integrity;
- A self-starter with a friendly disposition;
- Valid Driver's licence;
- Preferably the ideal candidate will reside in the area of service.
