Job Summary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mobile applications using Android best practices and frameworks.
• Manage the entire application development lifecycle, including design, testing, support, and release.
• Implement and optimize features according to specifications.
• Prepare and deploy releases of application components.
• Develop cross-platform applications for Android, iOS, Windows, and other platforms.
• Analyze, optimize, troubleshoot, and debug software issues.
• Enhance user experience by building intuitive interfaces.
• Present findings and updates to software development and business user teams.

Qualifications:

• Matric / Grade 12
• National Diploma in IT or equivalent Degree in IT

Skills and Experience Required:

• Minimum of 3 years of overall software development experience
• Minimum of 2 years of Android application development experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Android Studio and SDK Tools
• Minimum of 2 years of experience publishing applications to the Google Play Store
• Proven 3 years of work experience as a Mobile Developer
• Java, SQLite, Web Services & RESTful APIs
• Cross-platform mobile application development for iOS, Window CE, Windows Mobile
• HTML5, CSS, JSON, AJAX, jQuery, MVC, REST, JavaScript
• Querying Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL)
• C#, Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift
• Good understanding of the software development process
• Familiarity with development methodologies
• Experience with ticketing systems like Team Foundation Server
• Agile development experience
• Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with object-oriented design principles
• Strong business knowledge in mobile application development
• Familiarity with mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Proficiency in Java, SQLite, Web Services & RESTful APIs
• Cross-platform mobile application development for iOS, Window CE, Windows Mobile
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JSON, AJAX, jQuery, MVC, REST, JavaScript
• Experience with querying Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL)
• Proficiency in C#, Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift
