We have an exciting career opportunity for a dynamic Mobile Developer to join our Software Development team, based at our Centurion office. We are a provider of innovative solutions to various industries, with a focus on optimizing processes and enhancing collaboration and efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mobile applications using best practices and frameworks.
• Monitor the entire application development lifecycle (design, test, support, and release).
• Add and optimize features as per specifications.
• Create cross-platform applications for Android, iOS, Windows, etc.
• Work on software analysis, optimization, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Build interfaces to improve UX.
• Present findings to software development and business user teams.

Qualifications:

• Matric / Grade 12.
• A National Diploma IT or equivalent.

Essential Skills Required:

• Java, SQLite, Web Services & RESTful APIs.
• Cross-platform Mobile application development for iOS, Window CE, Windows Mobile.
• HTML5, CSS, JSON, AJAX, jQuery, MVC, REST, JavaScript.
• Querying Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL).
• C#, Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift.
• A good understanding of the software development process.
• The ability to work in a team and as an individual.
• Good presentation skills.
• Familiarity with development methodologies.
• Worked with Team Foundation Server or similar ticketing systems.
• Agile.

Minimum Years of Experience and Skills Required:

• Minimum of 3 years overall experience in software development.
• Minimum of 2 years of Android applications development.
• Minimum of 2 years Android Studio and SDK Tools.
• Minimum of 2 years publishing applications to the app store.
• Proven 3 years of work experience as a Mobile Developer.
• Familiarity with OOP design principles.
• Business knowledge: mobile applications development.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architecture, trends, and emerging technologies.
