Are you a talented and experienced Software Analyst with a passion for data management solutions and expertise in ETL? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the creative team and designers during the software design and development process.
• Provide technical leadership and accountability for the successful implementation of client projects, ensuring proper architecture and code quality.
• Assist in setting the direction for our technology practice in partnership with the MIS Manager.
• Support ongoing support and maintenance engagements.
• Work with project managers and developers to manage user expectations and requirements.
• Apply SDLC concepts and consistently deliver robust applications.

Requirements:

• Academic Qualification: NQF Level 7: Graduate Degree or higher in Information Technology.
• Required Qualifications: University degree in Information Technology.
• Preferred Qualifications: ITIL Advanced, Certification in Software Engineering / Software Development.
• Experience Required: 6+ years in Software Development & Coding (Full-stack), 4+ years in Software Development as ETL / BI Developer.
• Preferred Experience: Experience in online lottery and gaming is advantageous.

Key Competencies and Skills:

• Proficient in one or more programming or scripting languages like PHP, JavaScript, Perl, Angular, JSON, Python, etc.
• Ability to read, analyze, and transform data with a specific focus on ETL (Extract, Transform, Load).
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases, emphasizing ETL techniques.
• Strong programming skills and knowledge of programming languages.
• Solid understanding of application workings, security, session management, and best development practices.
• Expertise in SQL, MySQL, and Oracle, and ability to write efficient queries against large data sets.
• Development of ETL processes for integration into BI Reports using ETL tools.
• Familiarity with full-stack programming languages.
