Job Summary
Hire Resolve is currently seeking three experienced Mining Engineers to join their clients expanding operations in the Northern Cape and across South Africa.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing mining plans, schedules, and equipment selections.
- Conducting feasibility studies, analyzing data, and ensuring safety regulations are met.
- Making recommendations based on technical analyses and operational parameters.
- Preparing cost analysis, project schedules, and budget estimates for clients.
- Overseeing mining activities and ensuring they comply with environmental and safety regulations.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as geologists and contractors.
- Demonstrating business acumen and staying up-to-date with industry standards and technological advancements.
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Mining Engineer or related position.
- Strong knowledge of mining operations, regulations, and project management methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and excellent communication skills.
- Experience with CAD and other mining software, such as Surpac and Vulcan.
- Familiarity with industry-related software, including scheduling, planning, and estimating.
- Willingness to travel to remote locations as required.
