Job Description

Diagnose, analyse and interpret geological data whilst implementing and improving geological systems and conducting underground mapping. Guide and support underground activities for the achievement of production targets through safe measures. People management (Ensure successful teamwork and supervision of Geology resources) Ensure compliance to organistaion and legislative standards and procedures Identify opportunities to optimise operations and participate in improvement projects Conduct Geology activities (underground drilling, development mapping, stope observations, borehole core logging and off reef mining and dilutions)

NQF 8 (BSc Honours Degree) qualification in Geology Chamber of Mines Elementary Sampling certificate will be advantageous Minimum of 12 months post qualification experience as a geologist or Graduate Geologist in a mining or mining projects environment GSSA membership and SACNASP registration 3D modeling experience will be advantageous.

Ability to communicate with people on different levels No criminal record Valid Driver's license and own transport Valid Certificate of physical fitness
