Would you like to work with a diverse range of machinery and equipment, that require problem-solving and critical thinking skills? We are looking for an experienced Millwright with enthusiasm and interest in machines to join our fast-growing team to ensure high operating efficiency and 99 % machine availability whilst our facilities remain safe.

Functiebeschrijving

o Responsible for the maintenance of all mechanical as well as electrical equipment in the plant.o Conducts safety-checks on equipment.o Troubleshoots, overhauls and re-builds machinery and sub-assemblies.o Carries out preventive maintenance and identifies and repairs problematic parts of a machine to ensure good working condition of all equipment for the company to meet their supply demands. o Continuous assessment and improvement to all equipment regarding efficiency and cost savings.o Responsible for verification and validation of all Critical Control Points.o Ensuring minimum downtime by managing the layout and placement of equipment and machinery in factory settings.

Profiel

Educationo The minimum educational requirement is N3 and a recognised trade test.


Specific knowledge:o Understanding of electrical installation regulations & electrical machinery regulations (OHS Act) o Experience in high-speed packaging lines including flow wrappers, cartoners, labellers, printers, date coders, palletizers, multi heads and glue systems. o Pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge.o Ability to read blueprints and machine manuals. Experience:o At least two years' experience as a Millwright in a FMCG environment.
