Millwright Technician
Job Description
Our client is a specialist in packing systems, delivering high-efficiency dry food packing machinery to leading food manufacturers across South Africa. They combine mechanical innovation with service excellence, supporting production uptime and food quality. Theyre looking for a hands-on Millwright who thrives in a technical, fast-moving environment.As a Millwright, youll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimising dry food packing machinery. Your role includes breakdown response, preventative maintenance, and supporting production teams to reduce downtime. Youll work across mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring all machines operate to food safety and production standards.
- Trade Tested Millwright (Red Seal)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Must have worked specifically on dry food packing machines (not packaging lines)
- Strong fault-finding skills in both electrical and mechanical systems
- Excellent understanding of hygiene, safety, and food compliance standards.
