Job Summary Minimum Job Requirements:
- Apprenticeship completed at registered provider.
- Trade Tested Millwright.
- N3+ in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Sugar industry experience essential.
- Packaging equipment experience, particularly liquid packaging.
- Experience with fault-finding and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Experience with electrical fault-finding and maintenance of electrical equipment and circuits.
- Understanding of industrial instrumentation; PLC's and SCADA systems.
- SAP training and experience, a strong advantage.
Reporting to the Plant Manager:
- Inspect plant equipment and report defects.
- Maintain mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Liaise with operations to plan equipment maintenance.
- Supervise staff (Assistants, Artisans).
- Liaise with external service providers to procure goods and services.
- Supervise external service providers when on-site.
- Review and action maintenance requests on SAP.
- Understanding of safety systems (lock-out/solation, risk assessments).
- Working in food industry and FSSC compliant industry.
- Good communication skills.
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- Good organisational and administrative skills.
