Job Description

Job Summary Requirements:

Qualified Millwright (Red Seal Certificate - Trade Tested)
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar industrial maintenance environment
Understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
Proficient in fault finding and root cause analysis
Experience with PLCs, VSDs, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and conveyors (advantageous)
Strong safety awareness and adherence to OHSACT regulations
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Willing to work shifts, overtime, and be on standby as required

Key Responsibilities:

Perform mechanical and electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on plant equipment and machinery.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns.
Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in electrical and mechanical systems.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete job cards/reports.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring safe working practices at all times.
Participate in equipment upgrades and new installations.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance.
Assist in maintaining inventory of maintenance tools, parts, and supplies.
