SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSBILITIES
The Millwright needs to ensure that all companyxe2x80x99s equipment is maintained in order to have minimum breakdowns and that the plant/site availability is in accordance to set standards. The Millwright would need to
maintain mechanical equipment in good order by adhering to maintenance procedures to enable operations to meet production targets.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum Education - Grade 12 & N3-N6 or Technical Qualification
• Additional Qualifications Millwright Trade Test
• Minimum work experience: 2-5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience as Artisan in a construction environment.
• Familiarity with construction terminology and processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Handling unassembled equipment with precision and utilizing hoisting and rigging equipment to
• meticulously position components for assembly.
• In-depth knowledge of load-bearing capabilities, the use of safety glasses, and a comprehensive
• understanding of blueprints and technical instructions.
• Determine work procedures, construct foundations, and handle the assembly, dismantling, and
• overhaul of machinery using hand and power tools.
• Operate lathes, milling machines, and grinders to fabricate custom parts or conduct repairs.
• Moving, assembling, and installing critical machinery components like shafting, precision bearings, gearboxes, and conveyors.
• General labourer duties, pipefitting, carpentry, and even some electrical work.
• Welding skills, such as arc, MIG, and oxyacetylene cutting, may be essential.
• Regular maintenance, involving tasks like lubrication, bearing replacement, and seal replacement.
• Understanding of fluid mechanics crucial for maintaining and troubleshooting valves, cylinders, pumps, and compressors.
• Machinery available and utilized to full capacity
