Summary role:

Suitable candidate must have completed Trade Test and at least 2-3 relevant experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures and fault finding

Installing equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions

Adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing of defective parts ensuring safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications and installations

Participating in the preventative maintenance routines on all equipment for continuous improvement of all equipment

Keeping detailed and accurate maintenance reports, documentation and feedback

Cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on equipment

Adhering to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances

Maintaining a clean and environmentally safe work area

Performing other related duties as assigned

Dismantled & assemble machinery and parts

Execute pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical repairs

Performed planned maintenance on machinery & equipment

Inspect, test and repair MCC circuits & wiring systems and electrical equipment

Use installed programs and perform fault finding on programmable logical control circuits (PLC's)

Install and commission machinery and equipment

Desired Experience & Qualification

2 years relevant experience
Completed Trade Test
Valid drivers license
