Job Summary
Our client is looking for a Millwright to join their team in Germiston. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing high-speed manufacturing equipment within a plastics packaging environment. This role requires in-depth experience with machinery such as Husky, Sidel, Nissei, injection and blow moulding machines, and compressors.
Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on manufacturing machinery
Ensure optimal performance of injection and blow moulding machines
Conduct scheduled and preventative maintenance
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical breakdowns
Maintain and improve equipment reliability and safety
Accurately complete maintenance records and reports
Requirements:
Trade Test as a Millwright (essential)
Solid experience in a plastics packaging or related manufacturing environment
Hands-on knowledge of Husky, Sidel, Nissei, compressors, and injection/blow moulding machinery
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Willingness to work overtime as required (not guaranteed)
