PURPOSEThe role is responsible to assist the Process Manager to ensure the efficient operation of the plant against set objectives thus maintenance of the plant and attend to breakdowns speedily.RESPONSIBILITIESSafety, Health , Environment and QualityMaintain FAMP/Client SHEQ policies and procedures .Promote SHEQ performance, programs and campaignsConduct risk assessmentsExecute planned task observationsConduct SHEQ meetingsReport & Investigate all incidents/accidentsEnsure compliance with all relevant legislation e.g. Mine Health and Safety ActOperationsMaintain good housekeeping standardsDo proper shift handoverOperate the plantRectify process deficienciesEnsures production targets are metMaintains quality standardsMonitors plant performance to obtain optimum productionAdvise on requirements of process sparesImplement client Crushing Plan to achieve throughput & qualitiesMonitor sampling proceduresMaintenanceBe part of maintenance planning meetingCreate job card (R Card)Engineering work execution on relevant Maintenance daysInspect equipment in the area of responsibilityCapture update and maintain information On key-systemDo general and processing maintenance/repairs e.g. change panels and sievebends/tighten panels/cutting of skirting / unblocking of panels and flood boxesExecute planned maintenance tasksManaging the teamAssign workMonitor performanceTrain and develop team membersMaintain discipline in the teamProper communicationAdministrationCompletes and distribute shift reports e.g. SHEQ and production,personnel, quality control and maintenance.Complete incident/accident reportsEnsure all records are maintained e.g. disciplinary, production and SHEQQUALIFICATIONSGrade 12N3 Mechanical & Electrical engineering subjectsTrade test-Millwright - MQA/MERSETA preferredMV added advantageEXPERIENCE5 years millwright experience preferable in Mining/Mineral ProcessingSKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES REQUIREDStrong Verbal and Written communicationProblem SolvingInterpersonal and leadership skillsAttention to detailCLOSING DATE: 06/05/2025
