Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Recognized Electrical/Mechanical Trade Test Certificate
N3 qualification
Minimum5 years of experience
in electrical and mechanical equipment maintenance in a production environmentRecommended Skills and Knowledge:
Proficient in
AC/DC drives
Basic understanding ofMV and LV systems
Experience inpanel wiring, switchgear, and transformers
Solid knowledge ofPLC systems
, especiallyAllen Bradley and Siemens
Competent inpneumatics and hydraulics
Strong communication and decision-making abilities Task-oriented with a high level of organisation and controlDuties & Responsibilities
As a Millwright, you will be responsible for:
Performing
proactive and reactive maintenance
on production equipment.Responding to machine breakdowns
and restoring optimal functionality with minimal downtime. Executingplanned maintenance tasks
on both mechanical and electrical systems. Conductingfault-finding using PLC systems
as diagnostic tools. Evaluating and repairing equipment after testing for irregularities. Interpreting and working fromelectrical and mechanical schematics
. Ensuringsafety installations and regulatory compliance
. * Following and updatingplanned maintenance schedules
- inline and during shutdowns.
