Job Description

Duties:

Move equipment and machinery as needed throughout your shift either manually or with the proper use of equipment.
Use a variety of hand tools, measuring tools, and equipment for cutting, welding, and brazing to adequately fulfill your daily duties.
Put your professional judgment to good use to decide which machines, techniques, and tools are the best option for moving equipment and completing the job.
Assist machinery maintenance workers as well as industrial machinery mechanics when needed to help make sure the plant and machines operate efficiently.
Package and categorize machine parts after taking them apart with accuracy and according to company standards and project requirements.
Clean up at the shift to make sure your job site remains well organized and free of unnecessary clutter.

Requirements:

South African unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
Must not have participated on the YES programme before
Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Trade tested)
Previous admin or work experience would be an advantage
Excellent communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, etc.)
Excellent time management skills
Good administrative skills with special attention to detail
SAP experience advantageous
The applicant must be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
Must be medically fit
Applicants must reside in Cosmo City, Diepsloot, Soweto, Tembisa, Randburg, Roodepoort, Krugersdorp and surrounding areas
