The position will be based in Wadeville, and the incumbent will report to the Foreman.

Job Specification (not totally inclusive)

Isolate equipment and machinery, lockout and tagout when safe to perform any maintenance task; Perform the required planned maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure smooth, efficient operation of the plant and machinery; Perform fault finding, services and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment; Perform daily and weekly inspection, record and report any deviation that may affect the operation of the plant; Perform preventative maintenance activities as assigned by Maintenance Planner; Report on plant/ machinery conditions to ensure efficient operations.

Minimum Skills required

---------------------------


Grade 12 or equivalent; Trade tested Millwright - Red seal; 4 -5 years of relevant post-trade plant maintenance experience; Electrical High and Low Voltage skills; HT Switching Experience; Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose issues quickly and accurately; Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet operational demands; Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
