Our client has a position for a Millwright at their plant in Cato ridge .
Candidate will be responsible for facilities, equipment's used to produce Agglomerates run to their maximum efficiency and output.
This includes preventive maintenance, managing breakdowns of electro-mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic and robotic systems (including software programming).
Carry out repairs under his ability to help the team to complete tasks.
This role reports to the Maintenance Manager.
Minimum Requirements:

• Millwright red seal.
• Plant level experience with proven maintenance management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Overall, Purpose of the Role

• Lead the site Maintenance function in providing both a reactive and pro-active, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.
• Responsible for planned scheduling and timely completion of work carried out.
• Increase plant operational effectiveness, reduction of mean time between failures and downtime.
• Manage and implement improvement plans, ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.
• Manage the team on technical best practice and establish standard policies and procedures whilst also mentoring and leading the department.
• Must be able to respond to calls 24/7 for relevant matters that impact production. Key Responsibilities General and Task Management x Adhere to daily and weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of site. x Schedule both internal and external work(s) maximising plant utilization and reducing unplanned downtime.
• Manage the team to ensure machine availability, reactively managing dysfunctional machinery with the Shift supervisors.
• Ensure routine maintenance requirements of a variety of electro-mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and automation/programming systems are undertaken.
• Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions. x
• Produce written reports.
• Perform root cause analysis and propose/resolve problems. Identify improvement opportunities
• Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements. Maintenance Millwright -
• Manage, coach Maintenance team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
• Consistently promote high standards through personal example and roll out through the team so that each member of the team understands the standards and behaviours expected of them.
• Provide technical expertise to the team.
• Liaise and ensure an effective interface with the operating team.
