Responsibilities:

Job Overview:

The Millwright is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair and inspection of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime. This includes troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance and assisting in machinery upgrades or modifications according to safety and quality standards.Dismantled machinery or equipment Assembled, installed and aligned equipment and machinery. Moved machinery and equipment Constructed foundation for machines Executed pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs Performed planned maintenance on machinery and equipment Fitted, inspected, tested, and repaired MCC, circuits and wiring systems and electrical equipment Installed and commissioned machinery and equipment. Repair electrical circuitry and components. Test units to evaluate electrical and mechanical operations Add and update SCADA interface with PLC systems (where needed) Managing a team

Qualifications:
Matric Four to five years relevant experience within the manufacturing environment Technical Trade or NTC Red Seal Certificate
