Job Summary
Hire Resolve's client is a leading company in the construction and glass manufacturing industry, currently seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join their dynamic team in Durban. Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment used in glass cutting, shaping, and installation processes
Assemble and align machines and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and schematics
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance of equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic issues to reduce downtime and increase efficiency
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively in a construction/manufacturing environment
Collaborate with other trades and departments to ensure smooth production flow
Requirements
Red Seal Millwright Certification or equivalent qualification
3+ years of relevant experience, ideally within the construction or glass manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working at heights and in physically demanding conditions
Familiarity with CNC glass cutting machines and automated systems is an asset
