Job Description

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on injection moulding machines,
robotics, conveyors, and auxiliary equipment.

Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults. Execute preventative and predictive maintenance schedules. Conduct equipment inspections and calibration in line with ISO and OEM
requirements.

Process & Automation Support

Support setup, optimization, and parameter adjustments for injection moulding
processes.

Collaborate with Management to identify bottlenecks and reduce cycle times and improve
product consistency.

Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, and automated control systems. Support automation projects, including robot integration, machine upgrades,
and control panel modifications.

Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve uptime, energy efficiency, and equipment
performance.

Participate in root cause analysis (RCA), NCR, and CAPA reviews. Contribute to equipment reliability programs and data-based maintenance
reporting.

Health, Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with OHS Act and company safety standards. Maintain clean and safe work areas following 5S principles. Participate in risk assessments and safety audits

Qualifications & Experience

Red Seal Millwright Trade Certificate (essential). Minimum 5 years' experience in injection moulding maintenance (robotics
and automation experience highly advantageous).

Strong knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Omron). Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical fault finding. Exposure to lean manufacturing and TPM practices preferred.

Performance Metrics

Equipment uptime percentage. Mean time to repair (MTTR) and mean time between failures (MTBF). Planned maintenance adherence. Reduction in breakdowns and unplanned stoppages. Safety and compliance record.
