Are you a hands-on Trade Tested Millwright with a passion for maintenance and problem-solving? Our client an established manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Millwright to join their Injection Moulding Department and ensure machinery, equipment, and infrastructure are kept in excellent working order at their branch in Ottery, Western Cape
Position: Millwright
Location: Ottery, Western Cape
Direct Report: Production Manager
Industry: Packaging
Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• N3 in Millwright Trade Theory.
• Trade Tested Millwright Qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' post-trade test experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, fault finding, equipment testing, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and machining.
• Sound understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance on injection moulding equipment and technical infrastructure.
• Maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Build and install racks, stands, pipework, and machine installations as required.
• Manage spares, tools, and workshop activities, ensuring stock levels and supplier liaison.
• Uphold strict Health, Safety and Food Safety standards, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Provide clear communication, progress reporting, and support to the Maintenance Manager and production teams.
• Work overtime, weekends, and attend to urgent call-outs when required.
