Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience in Printing and packaging machinery maintenance, and a keen eye for detail. The Millwright will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining machinery and equipment in their clients facility to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and maintain machinery and equipment according to blueprints and specifications
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Fabricate and install new parts or components as needed
- Perform inspections and testing of machinery to identify potential issues and recommend improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations at all times
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair tasks
Requirements:
- Millwright Trade Test
- Proven experience as a Millwright
- Experience within the Printing/Packaging industry
- Knowledge of machinery and equipment assembly, installation, and maintenance techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
