Job Description
Step into a rewarding role as a Millwright with a respected manufacturing team in the Free State!
In this role, you will perform electromechanical maintenance and repairs, ensuring optimal reliability and availability of plant and equipment. You will be responsible for assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical machinery, conducting fault-finding and root cause analysis, optimising machines through continuous improvement, and providing technical support to the maintenance and production teams.
You will also conduct ad-hoc activities such as inspecting and testing equipment according to schedules, completing job cards, performing modifications, and participating in improvement teams to increase machine availability.
To be considered, you should hold a Millwright Trade Certificate and have relevant experience working with filling and packaging machines. You must be fluent in Business English, have a Code 08 driver's license, and be computer literate. The role requires the ability to work in extreme conditions, confined spaces, and on shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Strong problem-solving skills, teamwork, and a proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement are essential for success.
