Job Description

Join an FMCG team as a Millwright in the Free State!
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment in an FMCG environment. Your expertise in fault finding, preventative maintenance, and reading technical drawings will be essential in ensuring that machinery runs efficiently, breakdowns are reduced, and downtime is kept to a minimum.
To succeed in this role, you should be a qualified Millwright (trade tested) with at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing. Mechanical and welding skills, and knowledge of PLC programming are important. Knowledge of VSDs and high-voltage systems is advantageous. Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills will also be valuable, along with the ability to work under pressure and on shift/standby.
