About our client..
Our client is a multi-award-winning integrated creative agency, with offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town. They're known for delivering standout creative across traditional and digital channels, and they're in an exciting growth phase. They're now looking for a Mid-weight Designer to join their Cape Town team -- someone with sharp craft, strong conceptual ability, and proven experience working with financial brands.
What the job involves..
Designing across a wide range of media -- from traditional print and outdoor to digital and social
Working on financial brand campaigns, translating complex products into visually engaging, consumer-friendly creative
Supporting Art Directors and Creative Directors with strong, crafted design execution
Building brand assets and adapting global CI's into locally relevant work
Creating presentations, mock-ups and layouts that sell in ideas clearly and powerfully
Juggling multiple projects and meeting deadlines without sacrificing craft
Collaborating with copywriters, strategists and account teams to deliver cohesive campaigns
Participating in brainstorms and contributing fresh, exciting ideas
What you need to be considered..
3-5 years' design experience in an advertising or branding agency
A strong portfolio that shows both conceptual thinking and polished design execution (portfolio link required - no portfolio, no response)
Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; After Effects or Figma are a bonus)
Meticulous attention to detail and a love for clean, precise design
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
Strong communication skills - able to present and rationalise your work
Bonus points if you..
Have motion design or video editing skills
Are confident adapting global campaigns for local markets
Have experience designing for both above-the-line and digital campaigns
