About our client..
Our client is a multi-award-winning, integrated creative agency with offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town. With a great mix of exciting brands and a culture built on collaboration, respect, and creativity, they're now looking for a Mid-Senior Copywriter with strong financial services experience and the ability to craft big, integrated ideas.
What the job involves..
Writing persuasive, clear and creative copy across TV, radio, digital, social, print, and outdoor
Conceptualising integrated campaigns in partnership with Art Directors
Working on financial services brands, simplifying complex products into engaging consumer messages
Presenting ideas and scripts to clients with clarity and confidence
Collaborating closely with strategists, designers, producers, and account teams to bring campaigns to life
Contributing to pitches and helping to win new business
Ensuring tone of voice is consistent and impactful across every touchpoint
What you need to be considered..
5+ years' copywriting experience in an advertising agency
Proven experience working on financial services brands
A strong, integrated portfolio (must include TVC work - no portfolio, no response)
Excellent conceptual ability and storytelling skills
Ability to adapt writing across different platforms and audiences
Strong presentation and communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects under pressure
Bonus points if you..
Have experience with both B2B and B2C financial services campaigns
Have worked on global or regional accounts
Bring a sharp sense of humour or fresh creative edge to your work
