ENVIRONMENT:

A fast-paced & forward-thinking Digital Marketing Agency seeks a versatile, meticulous and highly innovative Mid-Level Graphic Designer with strong Desktop Publishing (DTP) skills to join its team. This role requires a candidate who can seamlessly blend artistic creativity with technical proficiency to produce visually appealing and precisely formatted designs across various mediums. Applicants will require a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field with proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a focus on DTP, supported by a strong portfolio. You will also need in-depth knowledge of print production processes and industry standards, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign. DUTIES:

Graphic Design -

• Conceptualize and design a variety of marketing materials, including brochures, posters, banners, and digital assets.
• Implement creative and visually engaging elements while ensuring design feasibility for printing and digital distribution.

Desktop Publishing (DTP) -

• Utilize strong DTP skills to format and layout text, images, and graphics for print and digital media.
• Ensure accuracy in Typography, spacing, and alignment to meet professional publishing standards.

Print Production -

• Prepare print-ready files, including proper colour management and resolution settings.
• Collaborate with print vendors and oversee the printing process to ensure the quality of the final printed materials.

Brand Consistency -

• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines across all design and DTP projects.
• Collaborate closely with the Branding team to uphold a unified visual identity.

Technical Proficiency -

• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Graphic Design software (Adobe Creative Suite) and possess a strong understanding of DTP tools (e.g., Adobe InDesign).
• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in DTP technology.

Quality Assurance -

• Conduct meticulous reviews of designs and layouts to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project requirements.
• Address and correct any issues or errors identified during the review process.

Collaboration and Communication -

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Writers, Marketers, and printers.
• Communicate with clients to understand DTP requirements and provide solutions to meet their publishing needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.

Experience/Skills -

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a focus on DTP, supported by a strong portfolio.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign.
• In-depth knowledge of print production processes and industry standards.
• Detail-oriented with a strong eye for layout and design aesthetics.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
