Job Summary
Our Client in the Software Development Industry is seeking to employ a Mid - Tier Software Developer to their team based in Dunkeld Johannesburg.
Requirements:

• Industry-recognized certifications in software development or relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, AWS Certified Developer, or equivalent) are advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a software developer.
• Proficient in C#, .NET, MS SQL, Angular, Python, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows.
• Familiarity or experience with TypeScript, React, React Native, and GraphQL is advantageous.
• Experience in high-volume transactional processing is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Results-driven and responsible individual.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Positive attitude with a passion for innovation in technology.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Develop and maintain web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue.
• Build cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android.
• Create responsive customer portals and self-service platforms for user account management.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs for functionalities like billing, account management, and service provisioning.
• Design and implement database solutions using PostgreSQL.
• Build real-time dashboards for monitoring and analytics purposes.
• Maintain and enhance existing billing and CRM systems.
• Collaborate with UX/UI teams to design intuitive and user-friendly customer interfaces.
• Integrate with third-party payment gateways and external service provider APIs.
• Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and high-volume usage.
• Implement security best practices and data protection protocols in all development work.
• Write clean, maintainable TypeScript code that aligns with industry standards.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure up-to-date technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across web and mobile platforms.
• Support application deployment and ongoing maintenance in production environments.
• Work within cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery of features.
• Actively contribute to the ideation and planning phases of product development.
