Job Summary Company Description Dukes Assignments is tasked with providing timely and accurate scientific data in the field of meteorology to the broader South African society: a combination of both public goods and commercial services. The organization plays a vital role in South African public life, not just as a provider of key services, but also in empowering citizens to adapt to the effects of the ever-changing weather Role Description Dukes Assignments requires appointing a candidate to provide Microsoft SQL Professional Service on as and when basis for a period of 12 months. DUKES has critical services that may require specialized skills. The candidate must ensure that the resources nominated meet the required specialized skills as per the scope of work. The candidate must be able to replace or add more resources as per the services categories as and when required. The candidate shall be required to take full responsibility for its resources including management, performance management, guarantee of quality in the level of service provided, and have the responsibility and contractual control for resources supplied. The candidate will ensure sufficient transfer of skills and knowledge during the delivery of the required service. DUKES also requires candidates to have the ability to mentor internal staff in terms of concept, process and technical skills. The focal areas of the appointed candidate will be (minimum): o Database Security o Disaster Recovery and testing
