Microsoft Cloud Security and Optimization Support Engineer Infrastructure
Cape Town - Western Cape - South Africa

As a Microsoft Cloud Security and Optimization Support Engineer, your primary focus is to proactively guide and provide expertise in architecting, managing, securing, and optimizing cloud environments, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft 365 and Azure. This multifaceted role involves a comprehensive range of responsibilities aimed at establishing and enforcing standards to enhance security, operational efficiency, compliance, and alignment with business and client needs. Various Microsoft Certifications is required with solid experience in Azure and MS 365.

Type: Hybrid / Remote

Area: Johannesburg or Cape Town

Salary: Up to R35 000 pm ctc

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, and set standards for operational services to meet business and client requirements, staying current with technology trends for continuous improvement.
• Resolve complex problems requiring expertise and experience, including troubleshooting core services and systems to minimize downtime.
• Implement and monitor system changes, collaborating with the IT team to minimize disruptions.
• Drive improved delivery of core services through continuous improvement initiatives and collaboration with the team.
• Serve as an escalation point for less experienced technicians, offering guidance and support for skills development.

Requirements:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
• Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate.
• Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals.
