Job Title: Microsoft Certified Engineer - Modern Work (Microsoft 365) Location: Africa (Onsite & Remote) Experience: 3-5 Years Job Type: Full-Time Role Overview: We are seeking a Microsoft Certified Engineer with strong expertise in Modern Work solutions based on Microsoft 365. The role focuses on deploying, administering, and supporting Microsoft 365 services to enable secure collaboration, productivity, and device management across enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities: Deploy, configure, and administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams. Manage user identities, access, and security using Azure Active Directory (Entra ID). Implement and support Modern Workplace solutions, including endpoint and collaboration services. Monitor service health, troubleshoot issues, and provide second- and third-level support. Implement security, compliance, and governance features within Microsoft 365. Support migrations from on-premises environments to Microsoft 365. Maintain technical documentation and provide operational support to end users and IT teams. Required Qualifications & Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and support. Core Microsoft certifications, including: MS-900: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (baseline knowledge) Microsoft Certified Engineer / equivalent Microsoft 365 role-based certifications Additional Microsoft certification codes (e.g., C86, C12, C135) or equivalent recognized credentials Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture, licensing, and service integration. Experience with identity management, security controls, and collaboration workloads. Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) and device management. Familiarity with security and compliance solutions (Defender, Purview).
