Job Title: Microsoft Certified Engineer - Cybersecurity Architect Expert Location: Africa (Onsite & Remote) Experience: 3-5 Years Job Type: Full-Time Role Overview: We are seeking a Microsoft Certified Engineer with cross-domain cybersecurity expertise to design and govern end-to-end security architectures across Microsoft 365, Azure, and hybrid environments. The ideal candidate will be certified in SC-100: Cybersecurity Architect Expert and will be responsible for defining security strategy, architecture, and controls aligned with Zero Trust and enterprise security best practices. Key Responsibilities: Design and oversee enterprise security architectures across identity, endpoint, data, application, and cloud security domains. Define and implement Zero Trust security strategy using Microsoft security platforms. Architect security solutions leveraging Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Entra ID, and Purview. Align security architecture with business requirements, regulatory compliance, and risk management objectives. Provide technical leadership and guidance to security operations, identity, and infrastructure teams. Review and approve security designs, policies, and standards. Support incident response strategy, threat modeling, and security posture improvement. Maintain architecture documentation, roadmaps, and reference designs. Required Qualifications & Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, security engineering, or senior security roles. Required certification: SC-100: Cybersecurity Architect Expert Strong cross-domain expertise in: Identity & Access Management (Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access) Endpoint & Email Security (Microsoft Defender) SIEM/SOAR (Microsoft Sentinel) Information Protection & Compliance (Purview) Deep understanding of Zero Trust principles and enterprise security frameworks.
Requirements
Experience with cloud and hybrid security architectures.
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
Strong stakeholder communication and security governance experience.
ITIL, risk management, or enterprise architecture exposure.
