Job Description

This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of all raw materials and managing raw material stock control.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING

Grade 12

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

1 year raw material stock control experience Experience in Animal Feed Manufacturing will be an advantage

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Responsible for daily stock control and logistic management, including stocktaking and reporting on stock deviations. Process orders for raw materials and GRV's. Monitor the timely delivery of orders, check the weight correctness of the stock received and capture all intakes on the system. Ensure the timely issuing of claims and submission to the supplier. Monitor monthly stock usage and stock levels to determine timeframes to order new stock. Coordinate stock levels with the Production Manager. Ensure compliance with health and safety policy and monitor food safety risks in stores and working areas.
