PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Meza is responsible for the cleaning the store environment by maintaining both front and back of house according to vida e caffe company standards and procedures.

1. CLEANING

Back of house:

General:

Floors, walls, windows and skirting

Wash-up sink area

Waste disposal

Cleaning chemical management

Clean as you go

Equipment:

Cutlery, crockery and glassware

Dishwasher and grease trap

Blender and sauce pumps

Front of house:

General:

Floors, walls, windows, skirting and mirrors

Ventilation and air-conditioning ducts

Counters and surfaces

Ablution facilities

Waste disposal

Cleaning chemical management

Equipment:

Mops, buckets, brooms and dust pans

Tables, chairs and bar stools

Awnings and umbrellas

2. MAINTENANCE

Back of house:

Top-up (organising)

Cutlery, crockery and glassware

Packaging

Front of house:

Surfaces and counters

Top-up

Retail food and drinks fridge

Condiments station

3. CONDUCTING AND COMPLETING

SKILLS

Good command of the English language

Can communicate clearly with colleagues and customers

Must be able to work in a high pressured environment

Good understanding of basic customer service and hospitality principles

Must be able to perform independently, as well as excel as part of a team
