JOB PURPOSE

Ntiyiso Consulting Group is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Metering and Billing Consultant to play a pivotal role in our work with the client. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the successful implementation and optimization of the client's metering and billing systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the Senior Consultant in all aspects of the metering and billing project, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and project scope. Conduct research and data analysis to assess the client''s existing metering and billing infrastructure and identify areas for improvement. Support the development and implementation of a strategic roadmap for optimizing Matjhabeng's metering and billing processes. Assist with the evaluation and selection of new metering and billing technologies (if applicable). Build and maintain strong working relationships with key client stakeholders, including water and electricity departments, IT teams, and technical staff. Provide technical support and guidance on metering and billing best practices to the client's staff. Assist in developing and delivering training programs for the client's staff on new metering and billing systems. Analyze metering and billing data to identify trends and contribute to revenue collection improvement strategies. Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders (with guidance from senior team members). Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the project.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 4 years of experience in consulting, utilities, or a related field. Experience working on projects involving data analysis or research (a strong asset).

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

Experience working with municipalities or government agencies. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Experience with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello).
