RPO Recruitmentxe2x80x99s client is urgently seeking the expertise of a Metallurgy Manager in North West
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe and environmentally friendly operation of the Metallurgical processes
- Manage the Metallurgical process
- Manage the Logistics process
- Ensure the Quality standards are maintained
- Liaise with Mining and Engineering to ensure effective and efficient process flow.
- Manage Continuous Improvement through Operational Excellence
- Develop growth opportunities in co-operation with Mineral Resources and Mining.
- Manage SHEQ compliance within the Department through effective use of the Toolbox
- Utilise the Information Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status.
- Manage performance against targets (IDPxe2x80x99s), ensure IDPxe2x80x99s are linked to performance results and implemented as per plan and conduct career discussions with identified talent
- Grade 12
- BSc / BTech Degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
- 8 yearsxe2x80x99 Production experience
- 5 yearsxe2x80x99 Managerial experience
- 3 years Mineral processing experience
- Salary: R1.2Mil p/a - R1.6Mil p/a
