Job Description
A dynamic opportunity available for an experienced, results driven Local/Imports Merchandiser who has had exposure in Clothing Imports. SA CITIZENS ONLY.Responsibilities
- New product development (denim & fashion styles).
- Main point of contact between clients and factories.
- Costing and negotiating prices with suppliers and customers.
- Quality assurance and managing of all pre-production and sales samples, trims and approvals.
- Co-ordination with factories and suppliers to ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
- Order and approval tracking.
- Reviewing external inspection and fabric test reports prior to bulk shipment.
- Ordering and managing of all local trims and inputs.
- Manage shipping and local logistic schedules.
Experience:
Additional: xe2x80xa2 Relevant Degree/Diploma. xe2x80xa2 4 - 8 years experience in the above. xe2x80xa2 Definite Imports and Local experience as a Clothing Merchandiser.
