A leading retail company situated in the Western Cape is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Merchandise Planner to join their team of professionals.
Responsibilities

- Innovative thinker who can maximize category margin and stock efficiencies
- Excellent analytical skills that drive and support business strategy while challenging the status quo
- Effective assortment planning with a strong trader instinct
- Agile thinkers who can drive promotional activity and engage with channel owners to drive sales velocity
- Execute strategy and deliver against key financial and service level metrics
- Tertiary qualification/degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years Merchandise Planning experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate to internal and external stakeholders with confidence
- Confidence in your analytical skills to make high-impact decisions regarding your category
- Strong organization, planning, and time management skills
- Proficient capabilities in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Demonstrated experience working with production, trends, and buying teams to achieve strategy vision
- Salary: R350K/yr - R450K/yr, negotiable
