Key Job Responsibilities: xe2x96xa0Conduct a range of Immunological-related diagnostic and environmental tests, including ELISA, Allergy, microscopy, and PCR as part of routine testing in accordance with SOPs, monitoring quality always. xe2x96xa0Manage data required for the efficient functioning of the lab to meet project and clinical requirements. xe2x96xa0Ensure that quality services are supplied to customers by monitoring work, stock, staff, and equipment. xe2x96xa0Maintain safety standards in accordance with OHSA. xe2x96xa0Undertake to troubleshoot where necessary. xe2x96xa0Verification and validation of equipment and/or test methods for routine implementation. xe2x96xa0Interpret laboratory findings and completes technical reports. xe2x96xa0Maintain records and documentation of test results and patient information. xe2x96xa0Operate various analytical equipment for medical tests. xe2x96xa0Efficient stock control on bench. xe2x96xa0Liaise with healthcare Clinicians, Registrars and Pathologists. xe2x96xa0Database entry and management for accurate distribution to stakeholders. xe2x96xa0Attend to and close off customer complaints QMS xe2x96xa0 Adhere to quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy of laboratory results. xe2x96xa0Monitors, calibrates, and maintains devices according to relevant standards Monitors. xe2x96xa0 Log non-conformances, identify corrective and preventive actions and determine root cause. xe2x96xa0Trend analysis of non-conforming events with appropriate corrective and preventive measures xe2x96xa0Participate in EQA up to review and distribution of results. Assessments of results/Interpretation of results. xe2x96xa0Verify and report results (interpret where applicable), manually and electronically and ensure that results are delivered timeously. xe2x96xa0Perform Data Checks as per SOP. Teaching, Training & Dev of Laboratory staff. xe2x96xa0Training, coaching and provide technical support to Lab Technicians, Student Medical Technologists, Registrars, Pathologists and Laboratory Assistants. Minimum requirements and Key Competency Requirements: xe2x96xa0National Diploma in Medical Technology or Biomedical Technology or Bachelor of Health Sciences: Biomedical Technology xe2x96xa0HPCSA registration (clinical pathology) xe2x96xa04-6-year experience post qualification experience xe2x96xa0Perform sampling and analysis of human and environmental samples xe2x96xa0Preparation of samples for examination xe2x96xa0Knowledge for the usage of specialised instrumentation xe2x96xa0Accurate interpretation of results xe2x96xa0Establish and monitor programmes that ensure data accuracy xe2x96xa0Accuracy and organisational skills xe2x96xa0Attention to detail and strive for an error free standard xe2x96xa0Ability to identify problems and troubleshoot xe2x96xa0Ability to work independently and collaboratively xe2x96xa0Communication Skills (Verbal, written & presentation) xe2x96xa0Computer Literacy xe2x96xa0Time management and evaluation Skills xe2x96xa0 Able to accommodate overtime requirements to deliver timeous and accurate results Job Type: Full-time Application Question(s):
